Welcome to SHAPE at Long's Chapel! Where you can discover and understand who God made you to be and what He has called you to do - what SHAPE he made you to be!

In order to help you better understand this, we will be using an acrostic with the word SHAPE that was made popular by Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in Southern California. As you begin to learn more about who God made you to be, we pray that you will understand more fully what it means for you to serve God and His Kingdom - so that your passion can meet God's purpose!

In doing this, please understand that our intention is not to force you into any particular area of service based on the results of this assessment, but simply to help you discover which direction you might want to pursue and explore. The best way to discover where you might fit in and get connected is to simply "get in the game" and try it out!

• Experiment - It's easier to discover your gift through ministry than to discover your ministry through your gift.

• Read and study - There are a number of books that talk about spiritual gifts.

• Take assessments - Like this "WHAT'S YOUR SHAPE" assessment.

• Ask others for input - Others will often see gifts in us that we can't see in ourselves.
